Shop Policies

Please keep in mind we are a very small team and almost everything in our collection is made just for you when you place your order. If you have questions about size, weight, length, color or really anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hello@shophechizo.comor 804.918.2239 before purchasing.

SHIPPING

We ship within 5 business days from the date of purchase as we hand make each item in our Richmond, VA studio. Domestic customers within the United States can choose from the following shipping options:

USPS First Class Shipping (5-10 days)

USPS Priority Shipping (2-3 days)

We are happy to offer international shipping. Please note that we do not collect import tax or customs duties at the time of purchase and that these will be the responsibility of international customers. For more information of shipping internationally and possible additional fees please contact us at hello@shophechizo.com  for a quote.

EXCHANGES

We want you to love your handmade jewelry and would always prefer to find you a different piece from our collection if you’re not thrilled with your original purchase. We accept exchanges on pieces in original condition within 14 business days should you or your recipient change your mind after purchase. Store credit for item (minus shipping fees) is also available. We are not able to refund the original shipping fees and the buyer is responsible for safely shipping items to be exchanged back to our studio.  Buyer will be responsible for shipping fees on exchanged goods.  If there is a price difference on goods, buyer will be billed or refunded.  All sales are final on sale items and custom orders.

RETURNS

We accept returns within 7 business days of your receipt of the product for a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping cost) or store credit. The buyer is responsible for safe return shipping to our studio.  Should a package be returned to us due to an incorrect address as entered by the customer or refused by recipient, shipping costs cannot be refunded and customer is responsible for additional shipping charges incurred for a second attempted delivery. All sales are final on sale items and custom orders.

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Please email us at hello@shophechizo.com  with your order number and reason for return/exchange. Once we've communicated, ship unused products in original packaging (or equally well-padded box) to:

  •  Include a copy of the receipt or order number.
  • Refund will be issued in original form of payment within 10 business days from receipt of product.
  • Exchanged product will be sent within 3 business days from receipt of original items in re-sellable condition and payment of shipping fees.
  • Please make sure items are packaged in a well-padded small box and secured for shipping to avoid any breakage during transit.

CUSTOM ORDERS

We would love to make something special for you! Interested in a specific tassel color or maybe a style you’ve seen from us in the past? We make just about everything in-house so we can fabricate the piece of your dreams. Please email us at hello@shophechizo.com to get your project started.

DAMAGES

Should a purchase arrive damaged, please email a photo to hello@shophechizo.com  within 7 business days of receiving the package. We are happy to send a replacement item with complimentary shipping and will ask that you assist in any shipping insurance claim requests. 

DEFECTIVE & FLAWED WARES

We try our very best to ensure that only the highest quality pieces leave our studio and make their way to you. If you’ve received flawed or defective items, we will gladly send you a replacement item and cover the shipping costs or issue a store credit. Please email a photo of the defect to hello@shophechizo.com we can begin the replacement process and take steps to solve the issue.

REPAIRS

We would be happy to help repair any Hechizo piece.  Please send us an email hello@shophechizo.com  discuss how we can help.  Repair fees may apply. Refer to our guide to cleaning and caring for your Hechizo pieces.

WHOLESALE

If you are a web store or boutique interested in carrying our line please email hello@shophechizo.com  to inquire, including your store name, website link and a list of brands you carry. Thank you for your interest!

CAN I BUY JUST ONE EARRING, IF I LOST THE OTHER?

Yes, you can! We charge for a half pair to make you a mate for your lost earring. We might need you to return the earring you still have in order to match it since all pieces are hand painted and/or hand assembled and we like to match the ceramic components as best as possible. If we request you send your single earring to us we will send the completed pair back to you with complimentary shipping. Please email hello@shophechizo.com  with the style, color and your shipping address
