Hi there, I’m Hali Emminger the designer behind Hechizo accessories. Combining ceramics, metals and textiles into items made to adorn, Hechizo pieces are the mementos of my deep interest in materials and processes. I draw inspiration from many global traditions of adornment, pottery and costume. 

My father is a carpenter so growing up with a wood shop in my backyard and watching him constantly make beautiful pieces for people certainly modeled a creative path for me. I enjoy carrying on that tradition of handcrafting objects made to be used, worn and appreciated.

I reside in Richmond, VA with my husband and two young daughters. I work out of a sun-filled studio which I share with members of my family who are also makers and plant whisperers.
