Our unique wearable take on classic Worry Doll talismans are hand made by female-owned artisan businesses in Panajachel, Guatemala. These petite hand-wrapped talismans are based on the Worry Dolls you may have treasured from childhood. Legend has it that if you whisper your worries to the dolls at night and place them under your pillow, by morning the doll will have taken away your troubles (uh, yes please!) Our version allows your Worry Doll to hang out with you all day as a subtle reminder to let go of your grown up woes. The brass pendants are carefully hand-wrapped in colorful white & maroon cotton thread then sealed for wear. The charm measures approximately 1/2" tall and is strung on a gold-filled 18" long chain along with a tiny white cotton tassel charm.

In addition to working directly with artisans, we donate 12% of proceeds from the sale of every Worry Doll necklace directly to Friendship Bridge, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit whose mission is to empower Guatemalan women to create a better future for themselves, their children and their communities through micro finance and education.
